Flygt's mixer offering has been expanded with the innovative Flygt 4530 series, which is used in activated sludge processes, sludge retention tanks and digesters.
The Flygt 4530 mixer is an excellent choice when the impeller diameter of a normal-sized low-speed mixer is too large but the available space allows for a larger unit than a compact mixer. Compared to a direct-drive compact mixer, the energy savings of the Flygt 4530 can be more than 50% at similar thrust.
Advantages of the mixer
Innovative rotor design – a thin-section design with oblique, strongly backward-curved, double-curvature blades makes the rotor stiff and guarantees the best efficiency and reliability.
Standard Guide Rail Installation – The Flygt 4530 can replace mixers mounted on single guide rail systems. No special pedestals are required to mount the mixer, making it very easy to replace a compact mixer with the 4530.
Proven drive unit – the design of the drive unit was developed based on the Flygt low-speed mixer equipped with an electric motor with an impregnated stator in insulation class H and an appropriate gearbox.
