A few weeks ago we put into operation a small station in Podlasie (Turośl near Kolno) with a capacity of 300 m³/d.
The modernized Water Treatment Plant operates in the following technological scheme:
- raw water pumped by two deep well pumps to the pressure aeration system,
- the overhead water in the static mixer and contact tank flows to the filtration system,
- the filtration system consists of four first-stage filters, rinsed with air and water,
- treated water pumped into treated water retention tanks,
- final disinfection with chlorine dioxide produced in the generator, with a disinfectant dosing point before the retention tank,
- water from the tanks is pumped into the network using a network pumping station,
- washings discharged into the sewer system.
