Sewage Treatment Plant in Rzeszów – delivery of two Bucher piston presses with a daily capacity of over 15 tons of dry mass per day (460 m3 of feed) together with polymer preparation stations, measurement system and control automation. As part of the project, Proffico implemented a complete, high-performance mechanical sewage sludge dewatering installation, which allowed for a significant reduction in the costs of thermal energy consumption by the sewage sludge dryer. The use of energy-saving Bucher piston presses together with devices measuring the level of dry mass, flow and flocculant consumption results in obtaining the maximum physically possible level of sludge dewatering before drying. Thanks to the use of Bucher presses type HPS 7507, the energy consumption of the dryer was reduced by 40%.
