The 3rd Environmental Protection Forum, where Proffico had the honor of being the patron of the evening, was based on the "Strategy for Responsible Development" designed by the Minister of Development. During the debates, issues related to the new water law as the basis for water management in Poland, the Urban Planning and Construction Code and proposals for solutions for the water and sewage industries, adaptation of drainage systems to climate change, spatial development and drainage systems, the EU Winter Climate and Energy Package as an inspiration for the development of new models of municipal enterprises, the potential of cities to adapt to climate change through green-blue infrastructure, the use of green infrastructure in modern rainwater management were discussed.
The conference program was inaugurated by a ceremonial panel discussion, to which distinguished names from the world of politics and science were invited. We had the opportunity to get to know the opinions of many authorities in these fields, such as prof. Jerzy Buzek - Chairman of the Committee on Transmission, Research and Energy in the European Parliament, prof. dr hab. Jerzy Hausner - from the Faculty of Economy and Public Administration of the University of Economics in Krakow, prof. dr hab. Bartosz Rakoczy - Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Grzegorz Wiśniewski - President of the Institute of Renewable Energy, dr hab. Eng. Paweł Licznar - associate professor of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Maciej Kiełbus - legal expert of the Association of Polish Cities, dr eng. Tadeusz Rzepecki - Chairman of the IGWP Council, Andrzej Osiński - expert of IGWP.
