The Aquasave disinfection module is designed for effective disinfection of water stored in tanks using UV radiation. Thanks to this device, water supply companies can supply water in tanks in emergency situations that will be bacteriologically safe and suitable for direct human consumption. The principle of operation is based on physical disinfection of water flowing out of the tank (UV radiation with a dose of approx. 800 J/m²). The disadvantage of the previous solutions was that they forced tank users to systematically chemically disinfect the tanks. This type of solution, in addition to the economic aspects (chlorination costs), resulted in a deterioration of the organoleptic qualities of the supplied water and, above all, did not provide complete certainty regarding its microbiological purity. An additional difficulty was the fact that the legislator imposed very rigorous requirements regarding the quality of water in tanks, the physical fulfillment of which was often difficult. Therefore, Proffico was the first company in the world to design, manufacture and register a utility model for a disinfection module for tanks and tanks. Thanks to its own power supply, the device ensures effective, active disinfection of drinking water enabling direct consumption of the supplied water (assuming that water meeting the quality requirements for drinking water is introduced into the tanks).
