Last month, the tender for the “Reconstruction of the sewage treatment plant in the field of sludge management in Puławy” was resolved. This task included designing and carrying out works related to the modernization of sludge management. The project included the use of Swiss equipment, i.e. Bucher piston presses and a Dry-Sys belt dryer. The required sludge dewatering degree on the piston presses was specified at a minimum level of 30% sm with a polyelectrolyte consumption of no more than 10 kgAS/ts.m, which translates into savings of over 40% from the operation of the dryer. In addition, the contract includes the construction of new sludge dewatering and drying buildings, a social building with a control room and facilities related to gas management. The task is being carried out in the yellow FIDIC formula (design and build) and the general contractor of the investment is Inżynieria Rzeszów. The planned completion date of the investment is October 2015.
