Chlorine dioxide can be produced in generators, directly at the place of its dosing. The production process is not complicated and consists of proportional mixing of solutions sodium chlorite (7.5%) and hydrochloric acid (9%), their temporary retention in the reactor and dilution of the resulting chlorine dioxide to a concentration below 2 g ClO₂/l. The advantage of this solution is the ability to adjust chlorine dioxide production to current demand (limiting the formation of chlorites and chlorates) and relatively low operating costs.

Profgenerator ClO₂ 10 is a completely safe device – has a solid, lockable protective housing that protects against unauthorized access by unauthorized persons. The device consists of two peristaltic pumps that dose reagents, a calibration system and flow meters to control the amount of substrates taken, solenoid valves, a pressure reducer, a reactor, maturation and storage tanks, a multifunction valve, a diaphragm pump that doses the produced solution, an absorber that absorbs chlorine dioxide vapors, a ball valve that allows the solution to be drained and a controller with a color display.
